After entering the season expected to be a serious contender in the NFC South, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 4-11 and have lost five straight games (which certainly will not slow down the Grumors).
And Sunday’s loss to the Carolina Panthers finally made Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston snap.
The Panthers scored a touchdown to take the lead in the final minute, and on the ensuing drive, Winston fumbled after getting sacked. The officials ruled that the fumble was recovered by ageless Panthers defensive end Julius Peppers, but Winston believed that he was the one that had possession of the ball.
Winston was *quite* unhappy with the ruling.

After the game, Winston appeared to apologize to referee Jerome Boger for his behavior.
Winston was actually very good in this game (21-for-27, 367 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT), and has thrown 8 touchdown passes with only two interceptions during the five-game losing streak. So, he hasn’t exactly been the problem, and — while it doesn’t necessarily excuse this behavior — it’s easy to understand how he’s extremely frustrated.
