Utah State Aggies guard Max Shulga made a shot from beyond half-court that he absolutely wasn’t trying to make in Tuesday night’s game against Portland State.
Shulga was trying to make a long alley-oop pass, and instead, his pass turned into an incredible three-pointer.
That summarizes how the game went. Shulga had 18 points — on 6-of-8 “shooting” from the field — in an 81-62 Utah State victory.
And that kind of accidental three-pointer has been happening frequently in the 2021-22 basketball season, with another such example happening in the Xavier-Villanova game on Tuesday night.
