The UCLA Bruins took down the Oregon State Beavers on Saturday in a Pac-12 Tournament college baseball game that featured a combined 47 runs, as well as a nine-run ninth inning from UCLA to tie it.

UCLA won 25-22 in the 10th inning on a walk-off, three-run homer from Tommy Beres.

Everything about this is so incredible (the idea that a walk-off was needed in a game featuring a team scoring 25 runs is so funny), but the bottom of the ninth inning was particularly absurd.

UCLA trailed 21-12 entering the bottom of the ninth inning and proceeded to score nine runs to tie the game 21-21.

Oregon State took a 22-21 lead in the top of the 10th, but UCLA tied it in the bottom half on a balk.

Along with 47 runs, the game featured 53 hits, and 527 pitches thrown. It was a five-hour, 44-minute game.

That’s an all-timer.

Oh, and these teams play each other AGAIN on Saturday night, starting 45 minutes after the conclusion of Game 1. The winner of Game 2 will play Stanford in the Pac-12 championship game on Sunday.
