UMBC is currently beating Virginia in the NCAA Tournament, and at the time of this post, lead Virginia in the second half. If UMBC is able to hang on, they will become the first 16-seed to knock off a 1-seed in the history of the NCAA Tournament (Update: UMBC indeed won).
Everyone knows that. What everyone doesn’t know is what the heck “UMBC” stands for.
Everyone looking up where the hell UMBC is at this point. Most notability the school has ever received.

We are all UMBC, and hang on for a second while I google that to see what it stands for.

Well, let me tell you! It’s University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
Their mascot is the Retrievers.
It’s a university with apparently 13.839 students according to Wikipedia.
The men’s basketball team won the America East conference tournament, and here they are in the NCAA Tournament for the second time.
You’ll know much, much more about them if they’re able to hang on for what would be one of the greatest moments in sports history.
