Texas Longhorns wide receiver Agiye Hall, who transferred from Alabama earlier this year, has found himself in hot water once again.
One reason Hall transferred from Alabama was because he was suspended for violating team rules. Now, he has been arrested in Austin for criminal mischief.
Public records from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office show that Hall was booked at 9:06 p.m. on Thursday. The official charge is criminal mischief equal to or greater than $100 but less than $750.
As a freshman, Hall only played in 7 games for the Crimson Tide amassing just 4 catches for 72 yards on the season. Hall seemed to be disappointed about his lack of playing time for the Crimson Tide.
The writing was on the wall in Tuscaloosa for Hall, which is most likely why he left the school and headed to Austin to join former Bama offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian, who is now the head coach of the Longhorns.
But this latest incident with Hall may have put him in danger of not playing at all this coming season. The school announced Friday that he has been suspended indefinitely from the team.
Whether or not he comes back may come down to how other Longhorn receivers perform and whether or not Sarkisian is willing to hold a spot for him.
