On Friday, a moose was on the loose on the football field at South Dakota State. And on Saturday in Brookings, the Jackrabbits are looking to top that wild story by taking down the No. 2 football team in the FCS.
No. 8 South Dakota State took a 24-7 lead at halftime over No. 2 — and unbeaten — North Dakota State. And the highlight of the huge first half for South Dakota State was a touchdown on a trick play with just over two minutes remaining in the half.
On 4th-and-1, the South Dakota State center snapped the ball through the legs of quarterback Chris Oladokun, and into the hands of running back Pierre Strong Jr., who found Tucker Kraft in the end zone for a Jackrabbits touchdown on a jump pass.
That’s an incredible, extremely creative play!
