Brooks is a senior who transferred to Ole Miss in 2015 after a strong junior college career at Southwest Tennessee Community College, where he was named a junior college First-Team All-American. He’s been a valuable bench player for the Rebels this season, averaging 8.4 points in 24.2 minutes per game. Here’s wishing him all the best in his recovery.
The Rebels managed to bounce back from an 11-point second half deficit despite worries about Brooks. They wound up beating the Volunteers 80-69.
