The No. 2 Cincinnati Bearcats appeared to be cruising to a second-round NCAA Tournament victory against No. 7 Nevada, taking a 65-43 lead with under 12 minutes left.

But Nevada went on an incredible run, and this Caleb Martin three with 54 seconds left tied the game 73-73:

And with nine seconds left, Josh Hall got an offensive rebound and made this shot in the paint to give Nevada a 75-73 lead:

Cincinnati had a chance to tie or win, but couldn’t even get a shot to the rim on the final possession:

Eric Musselman’s squad finished on a ridiculous 32-8 run to pull off the stunning victory and advance to the Sweet 16. This win probability graph shows how improbable Nevada’s comeback was:

It’s the second consecutive incredible late comeback by Nevada; they overcame a 14-point second-half deficit to beat Texas in the first round.

The Wolfpack have that March magic going, and so does their opponent in the Sweet Sixteen. Nevada will take on the No. 11 Loyola-Chicago Ramblers on Thursday in Atlanta.
