Things are going quite, quite poorly these days for the SIU-Edwardsville men’s basketball team. The Cougars dropped their 20th straight game to D-I teams with a 84-73 loss to Murray State on Thursday night.
And the loss featured a moment that may haunt SIU-Edwardsville senior Devin Thornton for the rest of his life.

I suppose there’s good news for SIU-Edwardsville, in that when you’ve lost 20 straight games to D-I teams and are 0-14 in the Ohio Valley Conference, things can only go up from here.
