The Texas A&M Aggies had the top recruiting class this past year, but Alabama head coach Nick Saban has not been super celebratory towards Aggies head coach Jimbo Fisher.

Saban ripped Texas A&M during yet another rant about name, image, and likeness (NIL) deals on Wednesday, saying that the program “bought every player on their team.”

Fisher has responded during an impromptu press conference on Thursday, and it doesn’t sound like he has any plans to talk to Saban about the drama anytime soon.

The former Florida State head coach went on an all-time great tirade that any pro-wrestler would be proud of during his press conference, calling Saban a narcissist and vehemently denying all of Saban’s claims.

“You can call me anything you want to call me. You ain’t call me a cheat. I don’t cheat and I don’t lie. I learned that when I was a kid, if you did that, your old man slapped you ‘side the head. Maybe somebody should have slapped him (Nick Saban).”

Fisher also implied that Saban may not be in any position to call him out, saying that he may not have the cleanest track record for his recruiting practices.

“I know how some of those guys recruit too. Go dig into that. I know the history, I know the tradition, I know things. Trust me, you don’t want to go down that avenue. It’s ridiculous and it’s irresponsible. I ain’t just talking about one.”

Fisher finally added that Saban attempted to contact him following his comments, but he did not answer and that their relationship is done.

There was certainly a lot to take in from Fisher’s tirade, and many around the college football world took notice.

Alabama is set to play Texas A&M in October of next season, so that should certainly be must-watch television considering the animosity that seems to exist between these two coaches.
