The Central Michigan Chippewas stunned the No. 22 Oklahoma State Cowboys on Saturday in Stillwater on an unbelievable Hail Mary and lateral play to win the game 30-27, as time expired. Of course, it was on an untimed down and should’ve never happened (as you can read more about in the link). Either way, it did happen, and it will go down as one of the most memorable plays of the 2016 college football season.
Here was the play (you know you want to watch it again, and if you haven’t seen it, prepare to be amazed):
And when we have a play like that, we obviously have to hear how the home team’s announcers handled the call. Listen to Central Michigan radio play-by-play man Don Chiodo and color commentator Brock Gutierrez call the Chippewas miracle:
