The son of Master P has entered the college basketball transfer portal.
Freshman point guard Hercy Miller — his father is named Percy Miller — will transfer from Tennessee State. Miller averaged three points and 11 minutes per game at Tennessee State this season, but he was recently ruled out for the season with a leg injury.
Like college football quarterback Quinn Ewers, Miller is transferring after making a lot of money — $2 million — in an NIL deal.
Master P recently told TMZ that universities have been showing interest in Hercy, who will have four years of eligibility remaining.
P also told us universities have been attempting to re-recruit Hercy now that he has been granted 4 years of college eligibility … despite playing in a handful of games for Tennessee State.
Miller was a three-star recruit out of Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis) and chose Tennessee State over several big programs. Via The Undefeated in March:
The 6-foot-3, 160-pound senior passed over better known Division I college programs such as LSU, Vanderbilt, Missouri, UCLA, University of Southern California and Western Kentucky to select Tennessee State, a historically Black school in Nashville, Tennessee.
So, perhaps Miller will consider going to to one of those schools this time around.
