Saturday’s 38-12 Georgia Bulldogs’ win over the Tennessee Volunteers saw a highly unfortunate injury for field judge Sean Petty. When Petty ran on the field to signal a Georgia touchdown in the fourth quarter, he appeared to suffer a knee injury, and briefly hopped around before collapsing; he was later carted off. Here’s the play live, before the broadcast notices Petty’s injury:

Here’s the replay, first of the play itself and then of the pylon cam showing Petty’s injury:

The cart then came out for Petty:

As Petty was carted off, CBS announcer Brad Nessler said “We wish our field judge good luck on whatever rehab’s coming. He knows it’s coming.”
