Despite Tennessee not making the College World Series, Peyton Manning was in attendance this weekend. Maybe it’s because they’re in Omaha but Peyton was enjoying the Ole Miss–Auburn game, while wearing an “Omaha” hat.
During the game, the person in charge of running the scoreboard either wanted to have a bit of fun and/or is an Ole Miss fan because Peyton was shown on the scoreboard and was billed as “Eli Manning’s brother.” That had to have been a hit among Ole Miss fans at the stadium and social media had some fun as well.
On Sunday morning, Eli responded to the viral pic in standard Eli Manning fashion. “I like Peyton’s new title.”
On top of a 5-1 victory for his alma mater, Eli got to have some fun at his older brother’s expense. Not a bad weekend.
