On day two of the NCAA Tournament, we may have our first of what will surely be a handful of crying fans caught on camera. This poor youngster wanted nothing more than to watch his beloved Dayton Flyers reach the second round of the tournament, but it was not to be for this aviator-in-training.

Dayton, a seven seed in the Midwest region, was bounced from the tournament by Syracuse, the 10 seed out of the ACC. The Orange pulled away in the second half with a 40-23 advantage after halftime en route to a 70-51 victory.

Syracuse dominated on the boards, owning 48 rebounds to Dayton’s 28, which helped overcome the Orange having 15 turnovers to Dayton’s nine. Syracuse will play the winner of the Michigan State-Middle Tennessee State game, which likely means we will get Jim Boeheim vs. Tom Izzo in round two.

But getting back to the kid, haven’t we seen him somewhere before?

Ah yes, I knew he seemed familiar.
