Oklahoma State softball capped off a thrilling game Friday night with an epic walk-off.

The 2nd-ranked Cowgirls faced the 22nd-ranked Baylor Bears to begin a weekend Big XII series. The two teams battled deep into extra innings as they extended the game all the way into the 11th.

But that was when the Cowgirls finally struck. Megan Bloodworth collected an epic walk-off hit to end the thrilling softball game.

“Megan Bloodworth called game,” the OSU Cowgirl Softball account tweeted.

The Cowgirls boasted about the walk-off right after it went down.

“MEGAN BLOODWORTH 11TH INNING WALKOFF. GOOD NIGHT FROM COWGIRL STADIUM,” they exuberantly tweeted.

The OSU Max account posted an awesome video of the walk-off hit after it occurred as well.

The college softball world reacted to the walk-off win for the Cowgirls.

OSU Athletics celebrated the victory.

Larry Reece, the in-arena/stadium voice for the Cowgirls, tweeted, “Fridays are for walkoffs! It’s good to be us!”

Fans were incredibly happy after the win.

“#HowBoutThemCowgirls,” a fan tweeted.

Another OSU fan tweeted a GIF that was emblematic of the situation.

Oklahoma State is 27-2 after the huge win on Friday night. The Cowgirls have won nine games in a row and 25 of the last 26. Pretty good! The Cowgirls are only bested by the top-ranked juggernaut, the Oklahoma Sooners, who just so happen to be their biggest rival.
