The great blizzard of 2016 has forced all sorts of postponements this weekend in the sports world. It has also caused a number of college sports teams to be stuck on roads.

Such has been the case with the Duquesne University men’s basketball team, stuck on the Pennsylvania Turnpike since 9 p.m. last night. The team was attempting to return to its campus in Pittsburgh after a game against George Mason on Friday afternoon in Fairfax, Virginia.

The rapid accumulations of snow brought traffic to a halt last night. As the darkness gave way to light this morning, nothing changed in terms of movement along the turnpike. What did change? The team’s food supply was running low:
