The Texas Longhorns recently received some good news when former Alabama wide receiver Agiye Hall transferred to Austin.
But Hall, who had been suspended by head coach Nick Saban before he transferred, had a lot to say about the Alabama fan base and their lack of support for him while he was in Tuscaloosa.
“One thing that really stood out is the culture. Bama fans — they’re not really loving, if I could say — even when you leave. Texas fans are like a family. They love you unconditionally,” said Hall.
Hall had fallen out of favor with a lot of Bama fans because of his lack of production during the regular season and because he was on social media more than he was on the field. Hall only had 72 yards receiving with zero touchdowns but he did have a lot to say during the season, which turned a lot of fans off.
So, when Hall decided to drag the Bama fan base, you know a few Tide fans had something to say about that.
Some Tide fans said that maybe Hall needed to be reminded of how former Texas coaches Charlie Strong and Tom Herman were treated by Longhorn fans.
But there were some Crimson Tide fans who wished Hall the best at his new school…or maybe not.
I wish him much luck. He’ll enhance their locker room environment & figure greatly into some big plays.

The Tide and the Longhorns will settle the matter on the field in 2022 as the two will face each other in Austin in the second game of the college football season.
