Want to feel old? The Washington Wizards changed their name 25 years ago. Formerly the Bullets, the Wizards rebranded and along with changing the name, changed their colors to blue and bronze. Over the years, the colors have changed but for the 25th anniversary of the Wizards name, the team is going back to a classic.
The Wizards revealed on Thursday that they are bringing back the all-white uniform that the team wore from 1997 to 2010 for selected games during the 2022-23 NBA season.
In addition to the retro unis, the Wizards will be transforming the court into the blue and bronze color scheme as well.
People took on a variety of reactions to seeing this specific wave of nostalgia coming back.
The first and only thing I think of when I see these uniforms is Michael Jordan. https://t.co/qpdLJ6YVZt

very nice to see these are back but also very scary that a jersey i distinctly remember a team wearing is now a 'throwback'. i'm old now. https://t.co/InEKrET6Aj
