The Ringer published an incredible story on Tuesday night accusing Philadelphia 76ers president of basketball operations Bryan Colangelo of running several burner accounts on Twitter. The accounts have criticized Sixers players, ripped former Philadelphia general manager Sam Hinkie, and disclosed unreported medical information about the players.
It’s a stunning story, and naturally the NBA world and Twitter had plenty of reaction to it.
The reaction was mostly mocking the allegations, of course. NBA players (such as 76ers star Joel Embiid) and executives (such as Daryl Morey and Mark Cuban) were among those with humorous tweets, and MLB teams even joined in. Oh, and there was a Bryan Colangelo Wikipedia page update, obviously.
Here are some examples of the many, many tweets out there having fun with the wild allegations:

I've lost five followers since I tweeted about the Colangelo burner accounts, so I can only assume those were more of his burners.
