Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker is one of the NBA’s rising stars, and really showed off his talents when he dropped 70 points on the Boston Celtics this season. And it seems he’s a pretty good dude off the court as well.
The 20-year-old former Kentucky Wildcat will represent the Suns at Tuesday night’s NBA Draft Lottery in New York, and he’s recruited Suns fan Noah Smith to join him for the trip. Smith is an 11-year-old Special Olympic athlete that has Microdeletion syndrome, a genetic chromosomal disorder.
Booker surprised Smith with a visit at Navarrete Elementary in Chandler, AZ to extend an invite to the Lottery:
Good man, Devin. And Noah will try to bring some luck to the Suns on lottery night. The Suns enter the lottery with the second-best chance at the No. 1 overall pick, at 19.9%.
