Bryce Dejean-Jones, a shooting guard for the New Orleans Pelicans, was shot and killed at around 3:20 a.m. Saturday while attempting to break into a Dallas apartment, police said. He was 23 years old.
According to a report from Dallas police, an officer arrived to find Dejean-Jones dead on the scene. Dejean-Jones had reportedly kicked down the door of the apartment and had entered.
