After trailing by 11 with three minutes remaining, the Boston Celtics took a 105-104 lead over the Dallas Mavericks with 37.6 seconds remaining. The Mavericks appeared to be on their way to a brutal collapse (on a nationally televised — TNT — game) and extremely frustrating loss.
Then Luka Doncic showed why he entered the season as the NBA MVP favorite.
First, Doncic fought off tough defense from Boston to create space and nail a stepback three for the lead.
Jaylen Brown — who also hit a crazy “Eephus” shot, as Ian Eagle put it — then tied the game for Boston with 9.5 seconds remaining. And once again, Doncic took things into his own hands and drained a crazy three. This triple beat the buzzer for the win (there were 0.1 seconds remaining, but the Celtics weren’t able to do anything on the final possession).
And then Luka Doncic for the game-winner to beat the buzzer. Insane.

That looked a bit like Doncic’s buzzer-beater in the bubble, right?
It’s incredible what he’s doing, especially when you remember that he’s *still just 21 years old*. Amazing.
