You can’t judge too much from NBA Summer League, and you definitely can’t read too much into one possession. But Lakers youngsters Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram sure are making that difficult.

On their first possession of the Lakers’ first Summer League game, Ball showed off his otherworldly court vision and passing ability, connecting with Ingram on this beautiful alley-oop.

As you could imagine, that connection between the last two years’ No. 2 picks sent Lakers fans and media into a frenzy.

Shortly after, Ball and Ingram combined on another pretty passing sequence to set up an easy bucket.

Ball and Ingram are still teenagers for another few months, FYI. And while Ball has struggled to get his jumper going through the first half of Friday’s game, Ingram looks like a complete stud so far.
