Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant left Tuesday night’s game against the Washington Wizards with what is being called a “hyperextended left knee”, and will not return. He’s also reportedly getting an MRI to determine the severity of the injury:

The injury certainly doesn’t look good when you watch the replay, but it’s impossible to conclude anything until the MRI results are revealed.
The Warriors have the NBA’s best record at 50-9, and have a 4.5 game lead over the San Antonio Spurs for the Western Conference’s No. 1 seed. So, they’re certainly just praying that this isn’t an injury that could keep keep Durant out — or hinder his performance — deep into the playoffs.
