Thursday’s NBA Trade Deadline kicked off in a big way with a four-team trade involving the Sacramento Kings, Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Clippers, and the Detroit Pistons.
The Kings will receive Donte DiVincenzo, Trey Lyles, and Josh Jackson. The Bucks will receive Serge Ibaka, two future second-round pick, and cash considerations. The Clippers will receive Rodney Hood and Semi Ojeleye. And the Pistons will receive Marvin Bagley Jr.
Here are some reactions around the NBA world to the seven-player trade:

This is a significant trade for the future of multiple different teams.
Bagley Jr. is someone who’s not panned out in four years for the Kings, but still is only 22 and was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. He’s seen his minutes and production drop this season, but he could be a valuable piece to the Pistons’ future if he’s developed properly.
In Serge Ibaka, the Bucks get a piece that can help them right away in their hope of repeating as NBA champions. Ibaka was famously a huge part of the Toronto Raptors winning the championship in 2019, and the Bucks will look for a similar impact with his addition.
The Kings get a good backup guard in DiVincenzo, who has shown spurts of extremely impressive play over his career with the Bucks and can fit into a sixth man role perfectly for the team.
The Clippers, meanwhile, save nearly $30 million in the deal towards the tax as they look to the future with star Kawhi Leonard still injured from his torn ACL.
It will be an interesting day that is full to be sure of trades in the NBA today, but many teams were able to add just what they were looking for in this move.
