You don’t hear much about Dwight Howard these days, but the eight-time NBA All-Star is still a very productive player, averaging 16.3 points and 12.3 rebounds per game for the Charlotte Hornets.
And on Wednesday night, the 32-year-old turned back the clock for a dominant performance reminiscent of his prime years with the Orlando Magic. Actually, what he did in this game was something he’d never even done before, and something that only Kevin Love (2010) has also done since 1982: a 30-point, 30-rebound performance.
Howard dropped 32 points and pulled down 30 rebounds in the Hornets’ 111-105 win over the Brooklyn Nets.

Dwight Howard’s Hall of Fame chances have been heavily debated, but a night like this will certainly add a little boost to his case, and it appears he still has a few more productive seasons left.
