“It’s not a NBA season until DeMarcus Cousins gets fined,” is not actually a saying that is real, but it certainly could be given the temperamental star’s track record. And so, five days into the new season, he has been fined for the first, but certainly not the last, time.
After Cousins fouled out in the Kings recent game against Minnesota, Cousins threw his mouthguard into the stands out of frustration and then went to go get it, which is multiple levels of against the rules and stupid, for obvious reasons.

Boogie was fined $25,000 for the incident, which is for him a drop in the bucket, but after the multiple other fines he’s sure to accrue the rest of the way this season, they might add up.
We’ll ask our fine readers here at The Comeback, when is Cousins likely going to pick up his next fine? One week? Two weeks? Place your bets now, before he does something else stupid and gets fined before you know it.
