The Boston Celtics are going to the Eastern Conference Finals for the third time in four years. Boston took down the Toronto Raptors 92-87 in a well-defended Game 7 performance on Friday night in the Orlando bubble.

The Celtics shot only 40.7% from the field and 56.5% from the free-throw line, but forced 18 turnovers while only turning the ball over 10 times themselves.
Boston did get solid offensive performances from Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Tatum scored 29 points while pulling down 12 rebounds and dishing out seven assists, and Brown had 21 points (on 10-of-17 shooting from the field) and eight rebounds.
So, now we have a Celtics-Heat Eastern Conference Finals, and it should be a fun one. It’s also the first time in NBA history that the Eastern Conference Finals won’t feature a No. 1 seed, with the Raptors (No. 2) and Milwaukee Bucks (No. 1) being eliminated.
The Celtics’ skills on both ends of the floor — to go with terrific coaching from Brad Stevens — have them built very well for playoff basketball, and that’s shown through the first two rounds in the bubble. Now, they have a very good chance to land in The Finals.
