The Cleveland Cavaliers signed Andrew Bogut a few days ago, and the 32-year-old Australian center made his debut for the defending champs on Monday night against the Miami Heat.

And it, uh, didn’t go well.

Bogut played one minute, picked up two personal fouls… and reportedly suffered a fractured left tibia.

Brutal.

The play took place early in the second quarter, when the seven-footer banged knees with Miami’s Okaro White:

The former No. 1 overall NBA draft pick (2005 with Milwaukee) was set to provide Cleveland with some quality frontcourt depth, after playing against them in the NBA Finals last season for the Golden State Warriors. Bogut was most recently playing for the Dallas Mavericks, where he averaged 3.0 points and 8.3 rebounds in 26 games this season.
