This week, billionaire social media moguls Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk caused quite a stir when they began talking about facing off against each other in the ring or octagon for a potential pay-per-view cage match. It would certainly be a wild scene, and it sounds like one prominent UFC fighter has already picked his side and offered his training services.
As chatter about the potential fight between Musk and Zuckerberg began to ignite, UFC fighter Sean Strickland gave his thoughts on the hypothetical bout, making it clear that he does not like or support Facebook – which was founded by Mark Zuckerberg – for its “disinformation censorship.” As a result, he offered to train with Elon Musk in Las Vegas.
“Man **** Mark Zuckerberg.. Dirty communist…. No one wants your goggles and your disinformation censorship but…. Facebook market gets a pass….” Strickland said in a tweet this week. “@elonmusk come to Vegas. We will put in work!”
Obviously, we’re still a long way from any possibility of Musk and Zuckerberg actually meeting for a fight, even if both parties are serious and willing. But if it does happen, it sounds like Musk has himself a training partner.
It’s worth noting that Zuckerberg has participated in MMA training and has even won medals at a Brazilian jiu-jitsu competition.
