There has been speculation over the past couple of months about a potential MMA fight between social media moguls Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. The fight was officially confirmed on Friday, and it seems like it will be broadcasted for all to see.
Musk took to Twitter, revealing that the fight will be managed by Musk’s and Zuckerberg’s foundations, and not the UFC which was originally expected.
He also detailed that the fight will be live-streamed on both Twitter and Facebook, and that fight will be taking place in Italy and will be “ancient Rome” themed.
“The fight will be managed by my and Zuck’s foundations (not UFC). Livestream will be on this platform and Meta. Everything in camera frame will be ancient Rome, so nothing modern at all. I spoke to the PM of Italy and Minister of Culture. They have agreed on an epic location.”
Many around the sports world took notice of this news and are excited to see this spectacle whenever it does ultimately happen.
We still do not have a confirmed date for this potential fight. But at the very least, it seems like the location for the fight is set and the two are working towards setting up the fight date.
The two have reportedly been training hard for the fight, as a bunch of people inside of combat sports have praised them for their work effort in preparation for the fight.
