Paparazzi in New York City spotted MMA star Conor McGregor signing autographs mere days after allegations he sexually assaulted a woman in a bathroom during a Miami Heat game.
McGregor was “decked out head to toe in a white Gucci outfit” according to the New York Post. Fans flamed him outside his “ritzy Manhattan hotel” as he stopped to sign autographs.
The Post reported that McGregor “appeared to be heading to a children’s party as his security personnel could be seen holding a trove of superhero-themed toys and balloons while guiding McGregor to his car.”
McGregor wanted to keep a low profile after allegations emerged that he attempted to rape a woman during a Heat game in the NBA Finals against the Denver Nuggets.
The victim’s lawyer, Ariel Mitchell, claims Heat and NBA security “separated the woman from her friends and forced her into a bathroom, where McGregor was waiting for her,” according to letters obtained by The Post.
The woman accuses McGregor of “forcibly kissing her and making her perform oral sex as the security stood guard. She claimed McGregor tried to rape her but was ‘too limp’ to do so.”
McGregor denied all allegations and claimed the incident is “no more than a shakedown.”
