It’s no secret across the Major League Baseball world that  New York Yankees have not been playing well the past several weeks. The team is riding a three-game losing streak and currently has just a 3-11 record in the month of August.

Since the team hasn’t been giving its fans much entertainment the past few weeks, it looks like a few fans have taken matters into their own hands, getting a little creative in the stands to help pass the time.

During Wednesday night’s game against the Tampa Bay Rays, the broadcast camera caught one fan giving another fan a haircut in the stands. The pair was fully equipped for the haircut, including a barber’s bib, a spray bottle, a comb, and a pair of sheers.

“Wow — they’re giving haircuts in the bleachers,” commentator Michael Kay asked his partners in the booth. “I need a little trim. Want to go out there tomorrow?”

Ultimately, it seems like the fans did need that additional way to pass the time. The Yankees suffered yet another loss, falling to 1-3 to the Rays.

New York will be back in action on Wednesday as the Yankees look to avoid the sweep. And perhaps the fans will be back in the stands giving haircuts, as well.
