The Field of Dreams game was already a huge win for Major League Baseball, and then the ninth inning happened.
The Chicago White Sox had a 7-4 lead with two outs and All-Star closer Liam Hendriks on the mound, when New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge crushed a two-run homer — his second homer of the night — into the corn.

That was followed by a Joey Gallo walk, and then Giancarlo Stanton cranked a dinger to give the Yankees an 8-7 lead.
But in the bottom half of the ninth, Tim Anderson walked it off for the White Sox with a two-run blast.

The game featured eight home runs, including this three-run shot from Eloy Jiménez to give the White Sox a 5-3 lead in the third.

It was an awesome, visually pleasing product even if we put aside the incredible baseball game. And that was the case even before the game started.
Kevin Costner — star of the 1989 film Field of Dreams — emerged from the corn and walked onto the field. He was soon joined by the Yankees and White Sox players.
It was a beautiful scene all night, capped off by this gorgeous sunset.
And the Fox broadcast went all-out with the production, which included some fun drone shots, such as a quick tour through the Field of Dreams house.

A fantastic night for MLB, and an unforgettable win for the White Sox.
