Bryce Harper continues to defy gravity, physics and baseball logic during the 2016 season and on Wednesday things were turned up a notch — or should I say three decks.
That’s because Harper’s power knocked his 20th home run of the season all the way up to the third deck of right field in Nationals Park.
That’s just an absolute bomb. There are few things more fun than homers finding their ways to newfound parts of the yard:
The home run wasn’t just a moon shot, it was nearly out of this world. It didn’t just barely make it to the third deck, the thing landed well beyond halfway up in the upper deck of the stadium.
The Nationals also gave us this incredible stat about not only the home run in question, but about Harper’s growing legend as a hitter:
Oh, and for all of you buying the so-called “cheap seats” and thinking you’re safe from getting drilled by a batted ball? This couple, sitting some 451 feet away from home plate, beg to differ.
