Bobbleheads were the favorite collectible toy of sports fans who grew up in the 1990s, as evidenced by the wall of them that line my room.
Teams love to give out bobbleheads as promotions for games, and while they can occasionally be pretty good, other times they can be downright creepy, like this Steve Nash bobblehead.
However, it seems these 2000s kids can’t be pleased with just any old normal bobblehead, so teams are stepping up their game. This year’s Texas Rangers Adrian Beltre bobblehead can dance!
This is an appropriate bobblehead, as Beltre is an outstanding dancer. He beat Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons in an on-the-basepaths dance-off last year.
Good job, Rangers. Now the world awaits the Toronto Blue Jays’ Jose Bautista bat-flipping bobblehead.
