Atlanta Braves pitcher Sean Newcomb lost a no-hitter with two strikes and two outs in the ninth inning on a single from the Los Angeles Dodgers’ Chris Taylor. It was pitch No. 134 for Newcomb.
And things got much worse for Newcomb within minutes of losing the no-hitter.
Many offensive — and especially homophobic — tweets from Newcomb were unearthed. The tweets are from 2011 and 2012. Newcomb turned 25 in June.

So, those tweets are bad. And how on earth did Newxcomb — or his agent, or someone in the Braves’ organization — not delete the tweets after we just went through this same situation with Josh Hader *12 days ago*?!
The tweets have since been deleted, but there hasn’t been a statement released from Newcomb or the Braves yet.
