Savannah Bananas players wore kilts for an entire collegiate summer league baseball game

There have been plenty of weird baseball uniforms over the years, but the Savannah Bananas (of the collegiate summer Coastal Plain League) took that to a new level Tuesday. The Bananas decided to wear kilts for their entire game against the Macon Bacon:

Well, that’s certainly something. But hey, if kilts were successful military attire for centuries, they can be successful baseball attire too. However, they may not be all that weather-suited:

At any rate, this is certainly an interesting and unusual move by the Bananas, and it’s one of the few things that hasn’t been seen in baseball regularly.
