Noah Syndergaard throws hard while on the mound for the New York Mets. However, it’s easy to say Mr. Met throws shade better than the New York pitcher.
The Mets infamous mascot poked fun at Syndergaard’s younger, more pudgy self. The two playfully went back and forth on Twitter following the original tweet:
After review, I’d have to say Mr. Met wins this fight. The yo mama joke is always a classic and one tactic that I always enjoy.
But overall, Syndergaard might have the last laugh in this situation.
As New York gets ready to begin Spring Training, word of Syndergaard’s physical improvements has begun to surface.
There’s no way Syndergaard can throw any harder than he already does. I mean, what is he gonna do this season, increase his normal fastball velocity from 98-100 to 100-102. The dude is insane. If he can routinely hit triple digits with his fastball, we might as well hand him the Cy Young right now. The only issue will be whether Syndergaard can stay healthy and effective.
