Being friend-zoned by a potential love interest is one of the worst feelings for a person — both young and old.

As a part of the fan experience at sporting events, people can pay to put scrolling messages on the jumbotron. Most of those statements involve celebrating someone’s birthday or an anniversary. However, during Monday night’s game between the Milwaukee Brewers and Pittsburgh Pirates, a woman let one of her male friends know that it’s only going to ever remain plutonic.

If there was any way to mend Mark’s broken heart, Christian Yelich and the Brewers saw the message in the dugout and decided to use it as motivation to rally back against Pittsburgh to win 7-5.

The game ended in a spectacular fashion with a walk-off two-run homer by first baseman Keston Hiura.

Milwaukee is still in the hunt for the third and final NL Wild Card spot, trailing the San Diego Padres by two games.
