Even with the month of June over, Kyle Schwarber is still launching dingers at a mind-blowing frequency.
Schwarber hit 12 home runs in June, and for his career, he’s hit home runs in June at a higher rate than any player in MLB history.
Well, here we are in July, and Schwarber has now crushed four home runs over the last two games.
Schwarber hit two homers in the Philadelphia Phillies‘ 11-0 win over the Washington Nationals on Tuesday, and he followed it up with two homers in the Phillies-Nats game on Wednesday night.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, Schwarber crushed a laser down the right field line to tie the game 1-1:
And in the bottom of the fifth, he gave Philadelphia a 2-1 lead with this solo blast:
Schwarber now has 16 homers since June 1 and 27 homers on the season.
Here are more crazy factoids about Schwarber’s home run tear:

Unfortunately for Schwarber, he didn’t get any help from the rest of Philadelphia’s offense on Wednesday night. His two solo homers were the Phillies’ only runs in a 3-2 loss to the Nats.
