The KBO League — which became a popular watch for baseball fans worldwide amid the pandemic — held its first All-Star Game in three years on Saturday in Seoul, South Korea. And it sure looks like it was a blast.
It’s hard to even explain what’s going on in the following videos of the festivities, other than there’s something called the “Super Race” that’s a relay race in a carnival atmosphere on a baseball field. What we can say for sure is that it looks like a whole lot of fun.

The All-Star Game itself featured more wacky fun, including former major-leaguer Nick Martini (he played with the Chicago Cubs in 2021) wearing a Superman cape and drinking a martini, fittingly:

Another former major-leaguer, Socrates Brito, was unable to play in the game due a broken nose suffered on a hit-by-pitch. His teammates led cheers, and the pitcher who hit him — Kwang-hyun Kim, who played for the St. Louis Cardinals in 2021 — came out to to the field to bow and apologize to the fans.
And former Seattle Mariners first baseman Dae-ho Lee was honored in his final KBO All-Star Game, with players tossing him in the air a few times.
The KBO knows how to party.
MLB could learn a thing or two from the KBO about putting on an entertainment event for an exhibition game that’s supposed to be for the fans.
