Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Trevor Bauer spent this past offseason building a drone that has taken some sweet pictures in the past. Of course, Major League Baseball wasn’t having that because it’s fun, and implemented a no-fly zone as a result.
But this story has taken an even more unfortunate turn. Bauer was recently flying the drone, and it got stuck in a tree.
He live tweeted his struggle:
Have called about 10 tree services. No one will answer. Still have not been able to retrieve my poor little friend
— Trevor Bauer (トレバー・バウアー) (@BauerOutage) July 18, 2016
There was one suggestion that Bauer did take up, and that was to give free tickets to Tuesday or Wednesday’s game against the Royals to the person who could recover his drone. That doesn’t sound like a bad deal, even if the thing is 60 feet up in the air.
If you’re a fan of the Indians, you’d better get to climbing. Free tickets to a matchup against the Indians and Royals sounds pretty fun.
