During the fourth inning of Friday night’s Red Sox-Yankees ALDS Game 1, Ian Kinsler hit a foul ball straight back to the Fenway Park press box, and Turner Sports statistician Hal Gaalema made an excellent catch with his bare hands.
The game was shown on TBS, so naturally play-by-play man Brian Anderson and color commentator
Ron Darling enjoyed the outstanding play by their colleague.
That’s certainly a better moment for Hal than when he got yelled at by Charles Barkley for talking offscreen during Inside the NBA.
