An ugly storm swept through Denver on Tuesday night, and the Colorado Rockies’ Coors Field got hit hard by it. Making matters worse, it’s a Rockies game night against the Toronto Blue Jays.
The storm included heavy rain and hail, and the hail left the outfield looking like it just got hit by a snowstorm:

Longtime Rockies TV play-by-play man Drew Goodman tweeted a photo saying he’s never seen this much standing water on the field:

Incredibly, the tarp is now off the field, and the Rockies intend to get the game in tonight:
