Donald Trump’s love of golf was well known even before he became the 45th president of the United States of America.
Trump has been routinely spotted on the links before, during, and after his presidency. Despite facing 91 felony counts in four jurisdictions across the country, Trump’s increasing legal woes haven’t kept him away from the game he loves.
NUCLR Golf, a popular golf-tracking Twitter account, recently shared a clip of Trump impressing bystanders by picking up a golf ball off a green using only his putter.
Due to the nature of the video, it’s impossible to discern the details of the event that brought Trump and fans to the course.
The golf world was quick to react to Trump’s move.
Trump recently created headlines by claiming to shoot a five-under 67 in the round that won him the Senior Club championship at his golf resort in Bedminster, New Jersey. That score is better than professional golfer Phil Mickelson.
“Now, some people will think that sounds low, but there is no hanky/lanky,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Many people watch, plus I am surrounded by Secret Service Agents. Not much you can do even if you wanted to, and I don’t. For some reason, I am just a good golfer/athlete – I have won many Club Championships, and it is always a great honor!”
Regardless, it’s clear Trump knows his way around a golf course at this point.
