Tiger Woods’ personal life is in the spotlight yet again as he faces serious new allegations from ex-girlfriend Erica Herman.
The Golf Channel reports Herman is seeking a $30 million settlement from the golfer after he put her out of his house after their five-year relationship ended.
Herman claimed that Woods told her it would be Ok if she stayed after they broke up, a claim Woods denies.
She also wanted the judge in the case to dismiss a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) between her and Woods, a document she claimed she didn’t sign. Woods showed in court last week that she indeed signed a NDA agreement.
Now Herman has thrown a new allegation against her ex. She says that Woods sexually harassed her while she worked for him.
Herman’s attorney cites a new federal law called “Ending Forced Arbitration Act.” They argued in a motion filed Friday in Martin (Fla.) County court that she is entitled to a public trial to settle her contract dispute with Woods.
Wood’s attorneys have argued that the dispute must be decided in private arbitration based on the NDA agreement between Woods and Herman.
Herman’s lawyers also stated in that motion that, “A boss imposing different work conditions on his employee because of their sexual relationship is sexual harassment,”
Woods’ attorney fought back against the notion, saying that Herman is just a jilted ex-girlfriend who is making false allegations against Woods for sexual assault and sexual harassment.
It’s going to be interesting to see whose side the judge, in this case, is on as the two continue to battle it out in court.
