Will Tiger Woods compete in the 2022 Masters Tournament? The golf world has been rampant with speculation and guesses, but only he knows. And according to the legendary golfer in a Sunday tweet, he still hasn’t made up his mind.
Woods took to Twitter to let the golf world know that it’s going to be a “game-time decision” whether or not he plays in The Masters.
“I will be heading up to Augusta today to continue my preparation and practice. It will be a game-time decision on whether I compete,” Woods tweeted on Sunday.
The 15-time major champion got the golf world buzzing when he arrived in Augusta last week, driving speculation that he would play in The Masters a little over a year since getting in a car accident, where he suffered open fractures to his tibia and fibula in his right leg, as well as foot and ankle injuries.
Woods played a practice round and it was assumed he would make an announcement on Friday but that never came.
Golf fans would love to see Tiger back in The Masters so there is a lot of excitement around the possibility that he’ll come back and play. In the meantime, the reactions across social media are pretty strong. There were also a lot of football folks having fun with the “game-time decision” verbiage.

Tiger Woods officially a "game-time decision" for the Masters which means a LOT of analyzing how he's walking these next few days.
Unless something happens, I think he'll play. Sources familiar with his practice have said he has speed and his game looks good. Now, we wait…

Let the speculation continue all week long. Even if he doesn’t intend to play, Woods has already done The Masters a big favor by ramping up the interest in whether or not he plays. No wonder this guy ran away with the Player Impact Program despite not golfing in a year.
