Tiger Woods didn’t play his best at the Masters this weekend. While he qualified yet again for the weekend, he had a disastrous weekend on the links.

Things got worse on Sunday after Woods shot a career-worst. His 77 5-over is the worst score that the legendary golfer has ever recorded on the final day of a major tournament.

Even worse: Woods finished the Masters shooting 16-over. That’s the worst score he’s ever recorded in a major tournament. Period.

“Tiger Woods shoots 5-over 77 in the final round of the Masters for career-worst score over a major tournament,” Bleacher Report said.

Woods’s 16-over performance follows a dispiriting line of performances on the course. Woods’ skills have diminished as he’s aged, as Father Time remains undefeated. It’s a shame, considering how elite he once was. But those days are long gone.

Still, there will always be intrigue following Tiger. So, don’t expect that to end anytime soon. It’s not like the legendary golfer has anything to be ashamed about at this point in his career. Woods will likely pick back up again the next major championship, and we’ll be back to do it all again.

The Masters will conclude on Sunday and it’s anyone’s guess who the green jacket will land on.

The sports world had much to say about Tiger Woods and his career-worst performance.
